I've spent a lot of time drinking all different kinds of coffee at all different types of coffee shops, restaurants, and cafes. One of my favorites was a North Carolina based company called Counter Culture. Their coffee kept calling me back. I couldn't get enough. Then they went and changed their packaging and blends, and my favorites were lost in the shuffle. They still make good coffee, but I decided to look online at my goto place for everything: Amazon.
That's when I found Kicking Horse Whole Bean Coffee, Kick Ass Dark Roast. This coffee comes in a 2.2lb bag for less than $30! That's almost 36 ounces, which is about $10/12oz. That's a great deal. I wasn't sure I wanted to buy that much coffee without tasting it first, but the reviews were good, so I knew it couldn't be terrible.
I brewed my first pot, and it was delicious! I probably went through the first bag in two weeks. I decided I better order two next time, and I wanted to try their other blends. I went for Kicking Horse Whole Bean Coffee, Three Sisters Medium and Kicking Horse Whole Bean Coffee, Cliff Hanger Espresso Medium next. I wasn't disappointed. This stuff is so good!
If you are looking for a great coffee, with a real kick, order a bag of Kicking Horse Whole Bean Coffee today, and I promise, you won't be disappointed!
If you're looking for the best coffee grinder, a good Burr grinder is the way to go. I would recommend the Baratza Virtuoso Conical Burr Coffee Grinder.
It's pricey, but well worth it. You can adjust the unit to coarse all the way down to super fine, for the perfect grind whether you are making espresso or drip coffee. There are cheaper options, but if you want the best coffee grinder, this is the one to go with.
If you're not looking to spend quite that much on a grinder, then check out the Nuvita Manual Coffee Grinder. This grinder is very inexpensive but works very well to give your coffee the right taste. This also has adjustments for the size of your grind. Both of these options are going to give you better coffee than a cheap blade grinder that has inconsistent grind size.
